The Celebration Music Ministry presents “Return To Bethlehem,” a musical invitation to reflect on the Birth of our Savior as we begin the Christmas season. Featuring our Celebration Choir and Orchestra, we’ll hear songs of the season and exciting new arrangements that lead us to the manger in worship and adoration.
Join us as our Preschool & Kids Ministry shares their Christmas musical with us. Our annual family Christmas fellowship follows, so be sure to bring your favorite Christmas treat to share with everyone!
Our Family Ministry Team has put together the Christmas Devotion Guide for you and your family to help you more intentionally celebrate Christmas. Each of these devotions are based on the sermons through December and point us to our worship services on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. These guides are available in the sanctuary foyer, The Commons area, and the Children’s Building. Please just get one per family.
January 27-29 | Cost: $25 if registered by December 18; it goes up to $35 beginning December 19
What happens at Disciple Now? Disciple Now is our biggest annual event for teenagers. Teens are divided by grade and gender and stay in host homes on Friday and Saturday nights. Each group has two university leaders who lead the small group Bible studies. We also have worship services that will be held at State’s BSU this year. Bryant Bush will be our speaker (he spoke last year, and our teens wanted him back again this year), and Drew Harrison’s band will lead worship. Teens spend Saturday afternoon serving our community. This year we are going to focus on helping widows and other senior adults in our church family. Disciple Now concludes with our church’s 11:00 worship service on Sunday morning.
