At First Baptist Starkville, we are learning to listen to God, relying on the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Currently, we find ourselves in a phase of listening, seeking to understand what it means for each of us, both individually and as a congregation, to live out our calling to "Live Sent." Having discerned God's call to live sent, we now eagerly seek further guidance to fulfill this divine calling in our lives. In our pursuit of listening to God's voice, we are inviting you to participate in a fast.

So, what should you do during this fast?

Use the daily F.A.S.T guide, which will be posted here each day of the fast, to substitute whatever you are fasting from with a time of prayer and Bible reading focussing on:

• Forgiveness

• Adoration

• Supplication (Praying for your needs or the needs of others.)

• Thanksgiving

We eagerly anticipate witnessing the transformative work of God within our church community during this fast.
